Today was a beautiful day. Jeremy had to work this morning, so the kids & I stayed inside. Once he got home, though, we took Ava & Drew out right before naps(great idea, they both slept great!). While they were sleeping, we decided to look for a new park to take them to. Instead we discovered the Heritage Festival at one of our local parks & thought it looked like fun.
It all started at 4:00, so after Dora & popcorn, we headed out. The kids got to sit in a fire truck, jump in a bounce house, pet goats, bunnies, miniature horses, ducks & chickens & ride ponies. It was a blast. Not too hot or too windy.
We finished our day with dinner at Cheddar's & their 'legendary'(menu's word, not mine!) monster cookie! :)
