12 weeks

We had our 12 week prenatal appointment last Tuesday(yes, I'm always a little behind on blogging!). Everything looks great. We got a DVD of the baby...who was sleeping, but at least we got to see the heartbeat. :)

Hangin' w/ Aunt Jess

About 1 1/2 weeks ago, my sister came to visit us on her spring break(I'm kind of slow on posting these days!). We had lots of fun hanging out.

Also, CONGRATULATIONS on your new job, Aunt Jess. We love you!

15 months

Ava & Drew are 15 months (as of last Thursday). We had their 'well check' doctor's appointment today & got their stats.
Ava is 22#12oz (50%) & 32in (90%)
Drew is 22#12oz (25%) & 32 3/4in (90%)
The doctor was very pleased with how they've grown, both physically & developmentally. She was amazed w/ the number of words Drew is saying(16)!

Here are a few pics we took today when we got home. We are just loving the beautiful weather & the longer days!!

Taking Turns

Ava & Drew received this Dancing Tower for their birthday & they love it! Right now their favorite part is the microphone. They are actually very good at taking turns playing with it!

Ava's 1st steps

Well, not exactly her 1st...but the 1st we've been able to capture on video. She's so adorable...you can see how nervous & excited she gets thinking about it. She gets braver each day & we're all(even Drew:)) so proud of her! Go Ava!

Cold, rainy afternoon..

It's so hard to believe that temperatures were in the 80s on Tuesday. Since then it has been cold(low 40s!!) & rainy. The last 2 days we've had errands to run in the afternoon, so were able to get out of the house a bit. Today, unfortunately, we were stuck inside....couldn't even go for our daily walk :(.

So, I had to come up w/ new entertainment for the kiddos. The playroom is great, but several hours stuck in it & we're all going crazy. We decided to play upstairs for a while.

1st, in the baby's room(we've just recently gotten it cleared out of Ava & Drew's old stuff--thank you, Jeremy, for getting the attic decked!):

We played in the hallways a bit....yes, there is stuff everywhere b/c we're trying to decide what to do with it all!

It ended up being quite a fun afternoon. But, I still really hope it'll stop raining & warm up soon. I know they both miss the outdoors!
