New toys for a rainy day...

After several days of playing outside for hours in beautiful 70+ degree weather, we were hit with a rainy day! :( By mid-morning Ava & Drew (& mom) were already going stir-crazy, so...out came some new toys. Since their birthday & Christmas falls so close together, we always put away a few toys to introduce throughout the year. The 2 we brought out this week were a Little People garage for Drew & 'My 1st Dollhouse' for Ava. They loved them.....although within a couple hours had switched & were playing w/ each others toys! But, hey...whatever makes them happy & keeps the whining at bay! =)

2 new favorites

1. Popcorn! Ever since Noni & Dandy introduced Ava & Drew to popcorn, it has become our new snack time favorite. Every afternoon after naps, we watch Dora & share a bag of popcorn. It seems they may never grow tired of it....especially Ava, who looks at me w/ the sweetest smile and says, "corn"!

2. Playdoh! We 1st brought out the playdoh right around their 2nd birthday, but they didn't seem to care too much for it. Now, they ask for it on a daily basis. While it is a LOT of work for mom(or dad), it is definitely worth it to see the smiles on their faces! :)

Presley @ 5 months

I'm a couple days late with this because Jeremy & I were out of town on Saturday, when Pres acutally turned 5 months. (Thanks, again, mom & dad for the awesome birthday present! :)). Presley has to be the happiest baby ever(during the day at least!).

We got the jumperoo out for her a couple weeks ago. She loves it! Very much reminds me of Ava at this age...she would be happy to jump & jump forever!

Pres has started sucking her thumb. At first, she just did it at night, but now I'll catch her often with it in her mouth. Very cute.....I don't even want to think about getting her to stop in a year or so! ;)
