So, I meant to take belly pics from the beginning of this pregnancy so I could compare to last time. Of course, I generally forgot & I think have 2 pics this time around! :) But, here is a good comparison from both pregnancies at 28 weeks:

28 weeks!!

Really!?!? Where did the time go? I cannot believe I just had my 28 wk appointment today. Everything looked great. Did a real quick ultrasound just to say 'hi' & get the heartbeat. The dr said we will schedule the c-section for Friday, Oct 2. That is ONLY 11 weeks from tomorrow... 10 days before Ava & Drew turn 22 months! OH MY! :)
And we still can't agree on any names!

Megablocks

4th of July weekend

We had a great long weekend for the 4th. The kids(& mom!) loved having daddy home for 4 whole days. We did lots of playing outside...on Friday, we set up our own little waterpark w/ a splash table, baby pool & sprinkler. Then on Saturday, we moved the fort outside & did some swinging. Ava & Drew just love to be outside...though they tend to drift towards the HOT side of the yard--especially Ava, who will just wander away from whatever we're doing.

I have to say a big thank you to Jeremy for doing all the 'hard' work w/ the kids & letting me take it as easy as possible. Love you honey! :)

Drew's Room: Progress Pics

While Ava & Drew were at my parent's for the weekend, Jeremy & I(mostly Jeremy!) got to work on redoing Drew's room.
This room was our 'home office' when we 1st moved here & we had painted it maroon:

We decided to go with more neutral colors this time around & add a chair rail. The bottom part of the room is now a beautiful chocolate brown & the top is almond. Jeremy is working on the chair rail as I type, and it will probably be up by next weekend.

Now I get to shop for more decorations! :) I'll definitely be posting more pics when it is totally completed!
